ABOUT US

ROOM 523 was created by three sisters, after a trip to Seoul, South Korea in June 2023.

Our journey led us to learn the meticulous rituals and time-honored traditions of Korean skincare. From soothing sheet masks to nutrient-rich serums and nurturing creams, we learned that Korean skincare was not just a beauty routine but a deeply-rooted practice of self-love and self-preservation. 

Inspired and determined, we returned home with a treasure trove of skincare knowledge and an unyielding desire to share these incredible findings with the world. The idea to create ROOM 523 was born within the walls of our hotel room whilst looking out to Namsan tower. A memory we will never forget.
